We are actively looking for new PPG members
Would you like to help improve services at Woosehill Medical Centre?
Our Patient Participation Group, known as the PPG, gives patients an opportunity to share their views, suggest improvements and help us understand what matters most to our local community.
We welcome patients from all backgrounds and would particularly like to hear from people who can help make the group more representative of our practice population.
PPG registration formWhat does the PPG do?
The group:
- shares patients’ views and experiences
- discusses ideas for improving practice services
- reviews patient feedback and survey results
- meets with members of the practice team, including GPs
- provides a patient perspective on changes affecting the practice
The PPG does not discuss individual complaints, personal medical concerns or the care of individual patients. These should be raised directly with the practice through the appropriate route.
Who can join?
Any patient aged 16 or over who is registered with Woosehill Medical Centre can apply to join.
You do not need any previous experience or specialist knowledge. We welcome patients of all ages, genders, ethnic backgrounds and abilities, including people living with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
We would particularly like to hear from patients who can help make the group more representative of the wider community served by the practice.
The group usually meets at the surgery around four times each year.
What is involved?
Members are encouraged to attend PPG meetings, share their views and contribute to discussions about practice services.

If you are unable to attend every meeting, you may still apply. Please provide information about your availability on the application form.

Alternatively, you can ask reception for a paper application form. Once completed, please return it to reception for the attention of the PPG Secretary.
Applications are reviewed by the PPG Secretary. You will be contacted once your application has been considered.
