As part of our safe prescribing process, we currently accept shared care only with NHS gender identity clinics. We are unable to provide any services for private gender clinics, including the following:
- Prescribing hormone therapy/blockers or any other related medication.
- Providing forms for blood tests.
- Carrying out blood tests.
- Reviewing and actioning blood results.
- Performing physical examinations related to the treatment.
Patients will have to arrange blood tests and follow up with the private provider. Alternatively, they can book blood tests at Brant’s Bridge or Royal Berkshire Hospital by visiting Online Appointment Healthcare Platform | Swiftqueue
