Woosehill Medical Centre are now inviting patients in Group 6 age between 16 -64 years with underlying health condition for Covid-19 vaccinations at the Bradbury Centre, Rose Street, Wokingham on specified dates. This is dependent on the supply of the vaccine both nationally and locally.
Practice staff will be contacting patients to book an appointment. Please do not contact the surgery to request a vaccine appointment. We will contact patients in their priority cohorts as the criteria for vaccinations are laid out by NHS England very strictly and are not able to be changed by practices.
Patients will be asked some questions to ensure suitability for the vaccine – please cooperate with our surgery staff fully in order to ensure patient safety. You will then be sent more detailed instructions and information electronically to ensure that you understand the vaccination implications and process.
To say 2020 has been a difficult year is a significant understatement, but we are excited and proud to be supporting the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccine. The logistical challenge of vaccinating all of our patients, while socially distancing and keeping all concerned safe, is not to be underestimated, so please be patient with us as we work this through.
