Important patient notice

We have now moved to an online triage system for all medical and admin requests. Please use our new online form. It is quick and safe and helps our clinicians prioritise care and direct you to the most suitable support. This change is part of a national NHS programme to improve access for patients. Find out more information.

We know that change can be difficult and we are all getting used to this new system. Sadly, since moving to online triage, our reception team has faced unacceptable behaviour from a small number of patients. Our reception and administrative teams are here to help you, so please speak to them with respect and kindness.

Woosehill Medical Centre has a zero tolerance policy for abusive or rude behaviour towards our staff.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

From 13 October 2025 the quickest way to contact us is online

We are introducing Accurx Triage to make it easier and fairer for everyone to contact us. This means all requests will now start with a quick online form.

Please note: We are new to this system. The process may change as we learn from your feedback and adapt to the needs of the practice.

What has changed

  • All medical and admin requests (appointments, prescriptions, admin queries) must go through the Triage form.
  • You can send requests via our website (preferred), a text link we send you, or by calling us (our reception team will fill in the form for you).
  • Reception staff cannot book appointments directly without a triage request being reviewed.
  • From 1 December 2025, any requests will no longer be accepted via our Secretaries, Prescriptions, or Administration email accounts.

What has not changed

  • You can still call us or visit reception if you can’t use the internet – we will complete the form for you.
  • Long-term condition reviews, cervical smears, and routine nursing appointments can still be booked by phone.
  • If you need urgent help when we are closed, please continue to use NHS 111.
  • For emergencies, always call 999.
