Due to contract changes that are beyond our control, we will no longer receive funding to provide Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) starting on April 1, 2025. If you need a contraceptive coil or implant, or if you need one replaced or removed, we will refer you to a different provider for this service. Right now, information about a new local provider is unclear, but we will let you know as soon as we have more details. We sincerely apologise for this change in procedure, which unfortunately affects all GP practices in Wokingham.
In the meantime, you may wish to seek an alternative provider of contraception services.
